A major new commercial development can proceed in Hinckley, Leicestershire after a deal was completed to sell the land.
On land south of the A5 in Hinckley, Mountpark Logistics can now bring forward its logistics and manufacturing development comprising five new units of circa 1.5 millon ft². Our Director, Trevor Wells acted for one of the landowners, who joined together to form a land assembly.
Trevor comments: “The completion of this land sale marks a pivotal point in the creation of this new development, which will be a major distribution and employment centre. Working closely with the adjoining landowners and their agents, we have negotiated a successful sale that will not only lead to significant job creation in the region but will also improve the height clearance of the nearby A5 Watling Street railway bridge, which was struck 15 times in the past year and is among the top ten of the UK’s most struck bridges.”
The site’s five employment units will be suitable for a range of businesses, while community green space will form the surroundings, boosting biodiversity and the ecological value of the site.
