The sale of a four-bedroom character property and associated development land has been completed by our Assistant Land Agent, Tom Knowles.
Michaelmas Cottage in Burbage has been sold for an undisclosed sum to local developer, Northfield Group. The firm intends to modernise the cottage and develop the adjoining land, which had full planning permission for three additional properties.
Tom comments: “As expected, there was strong interest in this development opportunity, however, we knew that finding the right purchaser for Michaelmas Cottage would take someone with the vision to look beyond its distinctive character and recognise its potential.
“Through persistent marketing and close collaboration with the whole project team, we have successfully negotiated this sale to Northfield Group. We’re looking forward to seeing their team breathe new life into this property whilst also creating new family homes for Burbage,” said Tom.
