Together with beverage company, Molson Coors, we have agreed a two-year shirt sponsorship deal for the Kilworth Springs Golf Club Scratch League Team.
Currently playing in Division Two of the Leicestershire & Rutland Scratch League competition, Kilworth Springs is the home golf club of our director, Jason Hercock. Jason comments: “Through membership at Kilworth Springs I’ve met likeminded golfers and created many new friendships. When I heard the Scratch League shirt sponsorship was available, this seemed an ideal opportunity to give something back to the game as well as increase visibility of the Wells McFarlane brand across Leicestershire. We’re pleased to partner with Molson Coors and wish the team every success for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.”
Kilworth Springs Scratch League Team’s matches begin at the end of the month and run through August on a fortnightly basis. Playing home and away, 8-man teams compete in single match play format. The competition is administered by the Leicestershire & Rutland Golf Union and winning teams will receive trophies at a presentation dinner in February 2023.
Jason, who is part of the Kilworth Springs team, added: “Hopefully our players have been inspired by last weekend’s fantastic Masters Tournament and the superb form of world number one, Scottie Scheffler as he won his first major despite an excellent late surge from Rory McIlroy. I can’t promise replays of the scenes from Augusta but we’re certainly looking forward to a competitive season where we hope to win the league and secure promotion to the top division.”
