Thornby Associates, a specialist secretariat firm, has relocated to a pair of 600 sq ft rural offices in the village of Dingley, just east of Market Harborough.
Our Commercial Asset Manager, Chrissy Feenan negotiated the deal, which will see the firm adopt a more hybrid working pattern.
Thornby Associates’ Director, Mike Ockenden comments: “Since the pandemic, we’ve realised the hybrid way of working from home and office means we can ‘hot-desk’ and offer more flexible work patterns. The Smithy and Dairy ideally suited these requirements, while also offering us the option of future expansion.
“In addition, as the two offices are self-contained, we’ve been able to use the Dairy as a dedicated meeting room, so will be able to hold more face-to-face meetings than in our previous premises. We’re grateful that this characterful pair of offices was available for immediate occupation and found Wells McFarlane both efficient and friendly in securing our lease,” concluded Mike.
Established in 2010, Thornby Associates provides secretariat and specialist professional services to trade associations, professional bodies and charities. Its clients include organisations such as the Society of Licensed Conveyancers, the Equity Release Council and the Financial Inclusion Commission.
Chrissy added: “Rural premises, like these at Sutton Lodge, which benefit from fibre optic broadband, dedicated parking and excellent road/rail connections have become highly sought-after as business owners look to provide more productive environments for employees. The Dairy & Smithy have been converted to modern standards yet retain traditional barn detailing, such as exposed brickwork and trusses, and are an attractive workplace. We wish all the Thornby Associates team every success in their new premises.”
One property remains available at Sutton Lodge. The Steadings is a 972 sq ft open plan office with separate meeting rooms, manager’s office, kitchen and allocated parking. Contact Jason or Tina for viewings.
