Two businesses have secured new premises at the former Triumph motorcycle works in Hinckley after our Director, Andrew McFarlane Holt negotiated deals.
Online cosmetic retailer, Purple and Blue, has taken a 1,375 sq ft unit while a grounds maintenance contractor has a new 2,827 sq ft property.
Purple and Blue’s Director and Co-Founder, Gabriel Parascan said: “Purple and Blue started just before the pandemic in 2019, when my business partner, Daniela and I identified a gap in the market where cosmetics were available in Europe but not in the UK. By importing these, we’ve grown a catalogue of some 2,500 products in the last three years and had therefore exhausted all available space in our previous premises in Nuneaton.
“The unit at the former Triumph works offered everything we were looking for. It’s close to home, has good public transport connections and is part of an established business park meaning it’s very secure. We’re now able to have dedicated space for our office and distribution divisions, including international shipments, and anticipate jobs will be created for warehouse operatives, content creators and photographers as the business grows.”
Andrew commented: “It’s indicative of the Midlands’ industrial market that modern, high-quality units like these are in high demand, from businesses representing a variety of sectors. Following our advice, the landlord subdivided one larger unit to make the spaces now occupied by Purple and Blue and the grounds maintenance team, and these lettings completed quickly, avoiding inactivity.
“This willingness to adapt to market conditions, and swiftly acting on agency advice is crucial. If your agent has yet to have a conversation with you about how to maximise your property, then it’s time to make the switch and call our award-winning team!”
