Construction has commenced to convert a large warehouse/office at the former Triumph Motorcycle Works, Hinckley into six smaller industrial units.
On the advice of our Director, Andrew McFarlane Holt, a 12,917 sq ft space is being divided into six new units to cater for significant demand from the region’s light industrial/manufacturing sector. Andrew said: “In the past 12 months, many businesses have spent the time consolidating or re-grouping and are now realising a need for flexible space, either for storage, expansion or centralised distribution. By subdividing the space at Hinckley, we’ve been able to create opportunities for local businesses and avoid the unit remaining stale on the market. This strategy has proven successful as we have secured deals on four of the units off-plan, with just two remaining at 1,375 sq ft and 1,880 sq ft.”
The former Triumph Motorcycle Works is located on Jacknell Road, Hinckley and is easily accessible from the A5 and M69. The available units are on a 24/7 manned secure site and benefit from air conditioning and on-site parking. Phased construction is anticipated to complete at the end of this month (May 2021) with the new units ready for occupancy late summer.
